Images published by the Venezuelan press denied today alleged torture to Leopoldo Lopez in a Miranda state jail where he is serving a prison sentence.

In his Twitter account, his wife, Lilian Tintori, political activist of Popular Will movement, has published that Lopez was being tortured, and also released a video in which Lopez is heard to shout: 'Lilian, they are torturing me, denounce it.'

Tintori also wrote that, by orders of Diosdado Cabello to Leopoldo, they had not allowed the visit of their lawyers for 78 days.

A few hours later, the Ultimas Noticias newspaper received some exclusive photographs where the detainee was seen in perfect health condition in his routine medical treatment.

Other images show the right moment the food was delivered to him by his wife Lilian Tintori this Friday.

The Ultimas Noticias newspaper also clarified that lawyers do not go to Ramo Verde prison, where Leopoldo Lopez is serving a prison sentence, because there is already a definitive sentence against him and therefore defenders only have communicating with court.

Automatically from Tintori´s publication on false torture to her husband, the right-wing and international press denounced this incident as part of the media matrix that works in support of mindlessly destructive events in Venezuela.

In this regard, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro urged the domestic and international press to become attached to the truth and not be part of the incitement to violence and hatred against his country.
