The European Union (EU) has demanded all parties involved to strictly comply with the Minsk agreements for a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis, stressed the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

That recognition, by the Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and International security of the European Union (EU), Federica Mogherini, attracted our attention, stated Lavrov.

Speaking of all is taken into account the rebels of Donbass, the Ukrainian government and the European nations that support it such as Germany and France, considered the Russian diplomat.

If the EU's stance means that all should comply with what was agreed in Minsk, amid the sabotage opened by Kiev to what was stipulated in the arrangement of the Belarusian capital, because that bloc only applies sanctions against Russia, Lavrov wondered.

But the Russian leader considered positive that both parties recognize their differences and are still willing to continue the dialogue. Today we prefer to listen to each other, he commented.

Russia sees the EU as a close neighbor and important trading partner and tries to establish a dialogue based on equality of conditions and mutual respect, which contributes to regional and global stability and security, he clarified.

Both sides have possibilities to develop cooperation in the energy, transport, scientific, cultural and ecological sphere, explained the head of Russian diplomacy.

Both sides are concerned about conflicts in Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan or Syria, where we advocate a solution in line with UN Security Council resolution 2254, Lavrov said.

The Russian minister pronounced itself in favor of an impartial investigation to determine who was responsible for what happened yesterday in Lugansk, where an observer from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was killed and two were injured. The deceased was from United States.
