I hope to work here someday, but as I have a clear program of my future, I could not say now when that will happen, he added.

He also spoke about the benefits of the location where the students of the workshops offered at the International School of Cinema and Television l (EICTV) of San Antonio de los Baños are shooting.

It seems a unique town in the world. It is very small but embraces us all and its citizens open the door for us with tremendous disposition. That is not common in other places, he said.

The renowned Iranian filmmaker also confessed his preference for working with non-actors, because with them he achieves the best results and is always surprised.

The professionals will snatch some of this power of discovery and search during the shooting, he added.

These days, the Iranian director teaches practical classes in the EICTV and supervises audiovisual productions of 35 international artists and 10 students of the center.

With the consent of Black Factory Cinema production house-responsible also of the workshops in Colombia and Barcelona, the renowned director and photographer extends its teaching to the school in San Antonio de los Baños, on the 30th anniversary of its founding.

In parallel, the Cinematheque of Cuba will exhibit from January 26 to 31 a retrospective of the work of the famous director, including Where Is My Friend's Home? (1987), Up (1990) and Shirin (2008).
