Katy Perry Visits Cuba to Attend Music Concert
The American pop star missed to witness live a concert by local salsa singer Isaac Delgado, known as "El Chevere de la Salsa" and she did so.
Delgado told reporters that he has had a telephone conversation with the interpreter of "Roar," and he already knew Perry's interest for his musical repertoire.
The producer of the singer told Granma newspaper that the winner of six Billboard awards attended a concert on Saturday night, in which in addition to Delgado, Dj Unic, and his sons, Mitchell e Isaac Delgado Jr., also performed.
According to reports, the artist, born in California, pretends to visit during her stay on the island several art education institutions.
Perry's itinerary in Cuba is part of a break she took of The Prismatic World Tour, and included a trip to the popular Cuban Art Factory (FAC).
Katy Perry, 30, is considered one of the most commercially successful singers in recent years, and along with her sales of 85 million CDs, she has several hit singles, such as "Roar", "Firework", "Teenage Dream", among others.(Prensa Latina)
