Peruvian Communist Leaders Stress Fidel Castro's Importance

The two main Peruvian communist leaders today stressed the importance of the tribute a regional event of leftist parties will pay here to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, for his 90th birthday.

The meeting will analyze the experiences and difficulties of the progressive parties in the government or in the plain, and the neoliberal onslaught unleashed in the region.

Representatives of parties from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela will participate in the Latin American political meeting.
