Finnish Secretary of State visits Cuba

Secretary of State at Finland´s Foreign Ministry Peter Stenlund is paying a working visit to Cuba.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the visiting Finnish diplomat will hold official talks with local authorities and will meet a program aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Finland and Cuba.

Last March Cuban government vice-president Ricardo Cabrisas and Finnish Under-secretary of State Pirkko Hamalainen penned an accord to restructure the Cuban debt to Finland.
