Cuba to Participate in World Health Assembly in Geneva
The Minister of Public Health of Cuba, Roberto Morales, will participate in the 69th World Health Assembly in Geneva. Morales is accompanied today by other officials of Ministry, and during the meeting, once again he will present the results achieved by the Caribbean country in the health area, diplomatic sources said.
He will also refer to the most recent Cuban experiences in many different countries regarding solidarity and aid.
The Cuban representatives to the meeting intend to complete an intense work agenda that will include bilateral meetings with several delegations, besides participating in the working sessions of the health assembly.
The Assembly is the main decision-making body of the World Health Organization.
The 69th World Health Assembly will take place at the UN headquarters from May 23 to 28, the Permanent Mission of Cuba in Geneva informed.
