French Wine Company in Business with Cuba

The French wine company Médocaine des Grands Crus de Bordeaux, expressed its interest today in marketing its products in Cuba and take advantage of the growing tourism of this archipelago. A report of the company, considered one of the main producers of wines in that European nation, reiterated that wish after a recent meeting with managers and gastronomic specialists of the island.

It reflected the summary, distributed here, a presentation and wine tasting held in the Vedado Hall, of the Cuban National Hotel, in which Giannandrea Talato, a name of the Euro-Cuba group, explained that the French company offers a broad branch of product.

He clarified; that Medocaine constitute AXA-Millésimes subsidiary, a wine-producing entity comprising prestigious wine properties in France and abroad.

In turn, this house is a subsidiary of AXA, a French-Dutch insurance group, founded in the 80s of last century by Claude Bébéar, its president and great lover of fine wines.

The group currently has a bill amounting to 99 billion euros, and produces 200 kinds of high quality wines, and three million bottles, sold in over 50 countries, from all continents.

Euro-Cuba is a firm created in 2013 and is dedicated to promoting the business of European companies in this archipelago, not only wine, but also other lines of products.
