The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba expressed its ''permanent rediness to keep on working with US entities and firms'' in its Monday declaration in this capital.

After the recent change of policy by the new US government presided by Donald Trump towards Cuba, the Cuban Chamber of Commerce said it was in favour of faciltating the knowledge of the possibilities of businesses in the island for US entrepreneurs, said the declaration in the Cuban institution's website Monday.

The Cuban Chamber of Commerce also expressed the hope that the US companies 'stop being the hostages of an unfair policy, against international rights, rejected in the whole world.'

On June 16 this year, US President Donald Trump signed a document named 'Presidential Memorandum on National Security on the Strenghtening of the US Policy towards Cuba' and derogated the Presidential Guideline for Political Normalization of the Relations between the US and Cuba issued by Barack Obama on October 14, 2016.

The Cuban Chamber expressed its support to the declaration given by the government of Havana, after the new policy of the US government was known.

'This new policy, ignoring the growing interest of the private sector of the United States in establishing a mutually beneficial bilateral commercial exchange, will affect the progress achieved in the past two years, which have helped many US companies and workers,' it said as a conclussion.
