Maradona Wants to Coach in Brazil

Former soccer player Diego Armando Maradona wants to coach a Brazilian team, Alejandro Mancuso, his assistant coach announced.

Mancuso, former Palmeiras and Flamengo player, said to Folha de Sao Paulo journal that he talked to Diego about working in Brazil and how great that work is. "We have good relations with the Brazilians and we will analyze it calmly", he said.

Mancuso did not gave any detail regarding a Brazilian proposal to the former Argentina soccer team captain.

The Argentine Football Federation (AFA) decided last Tuesday not to renew the contract to Maradona and his coaching staff after the Argentine team was defeated 4-0 by Germany in quarter finals at the 2010 South Africa World Cup.
