The ever thieves will probably threaten, plot, rave about in the darkness of the night. Tomorrow, when our children get ready to go to school, the media would have spread the news thousands of times.

For months they built the expectation of a foreseeable event, to cling to the pyrrhic victory of some news. They were unable to defeat a people which they mistake for a man, a man who was, is, as great as his people. They were unable to accept the true news: that the invincible Commander had passed all his posts over a year ago and the Revolution continued, invincible.

The media will build new speculations, turn their nocturnal delusions into predictions and end up as always before another setback. I prefer to leave all that media trash aside and to assume the significance of this event as a Cuban: Fidel announces today that his health prevents him to continue in his duties of head of state and commander-in-chief –without doubts a solemn moment in the collective and individual history of all Cubans-, and adds that he will never give up the fight.
